Student Ambassadors                                [recruitment October 2011]
Working as a Student Ambassadors is a fantastic way to get involved at University. Our Ambassadors work on everything from school visits, open days through to campus events. This role gives you such varied experience, that there’s never a dull moment! Our Ambassadors are vital, and we reflect that in the way we work and of course a competitive (higher than minimum!) wage for their invaluable time! We know that our students are the best way for future students to find out about university, and the great opportunities they can have both in and outside of the classroom, so the role involves a lot of interaction with others and is a great way to meet new people.

Volunteering

Fancy getting involved with running KBSU events? Perhaps there’s a club you’d like to set up? Or a trip you’d like to see scheduled? Why not get in touch with any of the SU team to find out how you can turn your ideas into action.  

Wherever your interests, there’s bound to be a volunteering placement just right for you. With so many companies looking for someone to offer their help, there’s certainly no shortage of opportunities! Whether you’re keen to help out with human/civil rights, have fun fundraising or bring a grotty beach back to its former glory, have a look at what’s available.

Volunteering outdoors

Employers are increasingly looking for thing that you’ve done outside of your degree. Time and time again you will be asked what experience you have, and the flexibility volunteering is a great way to try out new things and get some extra skills in the process.
