Your Union

What is the Students’ Union all about?

Welcome to Kaplan Business School Students Union (KBSU). Our SU represents students from Kaplan Business School’s campuses across the UK (Birmingham, Bristol, London, Manchester and Reading) plus the students from Kaplan Law School in London. KBS students also get the bonus of being members of the University of London Students’ Union too – which means you get access to all of the support, clubs, societies and events at the University of London as well as those run at your KBS campus.

KBSU is run by the students for the students. Our student officers (check out their profiles below!) are elected by you to be your voice, and your eyes and ears. They are here for you to come to with any questions, ideas, issues and concerns you may have. The SU represents your interests, organises campaigns and events as well as keeping you informed of what is going on.

We want you to get involved with running the SU as much as possible. We can help you run and organise all of the sports and activities you take part in, and if you want to set up anything new then go for it! We have an SU meeting every week and all students are welcome.

Hi all, I’ve just finished my first year at KBS and am looking forward to my second. I grew up in London and chose to study in London as it’s the world’s financial centre, which makes sense considering the course i’m studying! Outside of university I enjoy gaming as most guys do, playing music, football and swimming. I also often rave over the weekends if time allows. I am active in the student union reporting on past events, society activities and relaying relevant news. I became involved in the student union as I want student life to be as fun as it can be for all, all of the time and I feel it is important for students to have other students as a continuous hot source of information, which I am. Feel free to contact me.

“Without culture, and the relative freedom it implies, society, even when perfect, is but a jungle. This is why any authentic creation is a gift to the future” – Albert Camus

Today we all live in a diverse population surrounded by vastly different ethnicities, where culture is a sense of identity and about the creative expression or response to life. To be able to explore and get to know more about languages and the world around me seems to be almost like an adventure for me and is why its also one of my hobbies.

If you’d like to get in touch about any issues relating uni life or anything else, you can contact me and don’t be afraid I don’t bite..…!
